  • 4 LOVELY DESTINATIONS IN SPRING
The most charming season of the year, spring, arrives to color the landscape.

CURITIBA

The flower season illuminates the cold capital of the state of Paraná, making the city even more beautiful in the spring.
Curitiba has more than 30 parks and woods, including Parque Barigui and Tanguá. The most famous of these is the Botanical Garden, the city's postcard. With 278 thousand square meters, the Botanical Garden has four spaces: the greenhouse, the Frans Krajcberg Cultural Space, the Botanical Museum and the Garden of Sensations. In art nouveau style, the greenhouse (the glass dome), inspired by the 19th century London Crystal Palace, is air conditioned and has some species of the Atlantic forest, such as Caraguatá, Caetê and Palmito. The Frans Krajcberg Cultural Space has a permanent exhibition "A Revolta", by the Dutch artist who gives the place its name. The Botanical Museum is a research center, library and exhibition space. At Jardim das Sensações, visitors are invited to have contact with plants.
In the historic center of the capital of Paraná, in Praça Garibaldi, it is possible to appreciate the beauty of the Relógio das Flores.

HOLAMBRA

Holambra is one of the 28 tourist resorts in the state of São Paulo. Shortly after World War II, the Dutch government encouraged the population to immigrate to other countries, including Brazil. Thus, the place chosen for most Dutch people was the city of flowers, as it is known nationally.
The city annually promotes the most important flower exhibition in Latin America, Expoflora, between August and September. In addition to the fair, the city has other attractions, such as the Moinho dos Nações Unidos (largest in Latin America), the beautiful Van Gogh Park, the Praça da Cachoeira and the Holambra Historical Museum.

The city has several attractions to enjoy the most flowery season of the year, such as Lago Negro, Le Jardin Parque da Lavanda, Mini Mundo, Praça das Bandeiras, Rua Coberta, Igreja Matriz São Pedro Apóstolo and Casa do Colono .
Gramado is located 7 km away from Canela. There you can visit the Caracol State Park. Likewise, the region offers numerous attractions, such as the Maria Fumaça tour, which runs through the cities of Bento Gonçalves, Garibaldi and Carlos Barbosa, and visits to wineries.
