Tour – – Walking tour of the Historic Center of Bogotá: The historic center of Bogotá is known as “La Candelaria”, it was declared a National Monument in 1963. It is formed by the old neighborhoods or parishes of the Cathedral, Egypt and La Concordia. located around Plaza de Bolívar and since the 16th century, when the first buildings were erected. Its steep colonial streets still bear the names they evoke from the centuries of Spanish colonization. About the tour – City Tour with Monserrate: Departure from the hotel to visit the historic center of Bogotá, for a walk through Bolívar Square and surroundings, where the National Capitol buildings are located, the Casa dos Comuneros, Casa de Nariño, headquarters of the Presidency of the República, panoramic visit of the Church and Museum of Santa Clara. Visit to the Gold Museum, where more than 34,000 pieces of different pre-Hispanic cultures can be found and visit to the Casa Museu Quinta de Bolívar, where the Liberator Simón Bolívar lived. Then climb to 3,100 meters of altitude to visit the Sanctuary of Señor Caido de Monserrate.
